Refund and Cancellation Policy
Current guidance for cancellations, billing errors, marketplace purchases, and refund requests.
Recurring subscriptions
Monthly and annual subscription charges are generally non-refundable after a paid billing period begins, except where required by law or a controlling written agreement. Canceling stops future renewal and does not automatically create a refund for the current paid period.
Trials and promotional access
When a current offer includes a trial or promotional period, the enrollment screen and applicable purchase terms control its duration, conversion, and cancellation timing. Retired pilots and promotional offers are not available to new customers unless they are expressly shown in the current purchase flow.
AWS Marketplace purchases
AWS Marketplace purchases are billed and governed through AWS Marketplace. For SaaS contract purchases, cancellation and refund requests must be submitted through AWS Support under the applicable AWS Marketplace terms; AWS currently documents a 48-hour refund-request window for SaaS contracts. Permit Sheriff does not collect separate payment-card information for an AWS Marketplace purchase.
Other marketplace and third-party purchases
Purchases made through another approved marketplace or third-party billing channel may also be subject to that channel's payment, cancellation, and refund rules. Permit Sheriff will apply the controlling purchase terms for the channel used.
Legacy purchases
Previously sold one-time or retired offers remain governed by the terms that applied when they were purchased. The former Founding Operator offer is not available for new purchase. Verified duplicate charges and technical billing errors will still be corrected.
Billing errors
Contact us if you believe a charge is duplicated, unauthorized, or technically incorrect. We will review verified billing errors and correct them when appropriate.
How to request help
Email sales@permitsheriff.com with the account email, charge date, purchase channel, and a short description. Do not email card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive payment details.
