Terms of Service
The practical terms for using Permit Sheriff and its paid plans.
Subscriptions, trials, and billing
Standard paid plans begin when Stripe confirms checkout and renew automatically until canceled. An eligible participant entering through the Reddit Contractor Pilot page receives a 14-day Professional trial while the 50-person cohort remains open, with a payment method collected at Checkout; the first charge occurs on the date Stripe displays unless canceled beforehand. You may cancel future renewal through available billing controls or by contacting us.
Founding Operator License
Founding Operator access is limited to the first 10 completed purchases, covers one organization, is non-transferable, and lasts for the commercial life of the core Permit Sheriff service. Reasonable-use limits apply. Third-party usage costs, premium services, consulting, enterprise customization, and materially separate future products are not included.
What Permit Sheriff provides
Permit Sheriff organizes project evidence, findings, deadlines, and reports to support permit-compliance work. It does not issue permits, make government decisions, or guarantee that a permit will be approved.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate project and account information.
- Verify findings, deadlines, and generated material before relying on or submitting them.
- Use the service lawfully and protect access to your account.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it to violate another person’s rights or applicable law.
Service changes and availability
We may improve, update, or discontinue features. We work to keep the service available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
